Many leaders tell us that they are successful in the current crisis situation with a rather soft #leadership style, which we call #familyculture:
1. #PositiveGrundhaltung: Benevolence and recognition. Make it clear that everyone is important.
2. #Resonance: Especially in digital communication. Do not let statements stand without a constructive response. Respond with affirmation, understanding, and appreciation (even when disagreeing).
3. #QuestionPosing: Not just to gather information, but to encourage shared reflection.
4. #Inside: As a leader, talk rather little. Listening. Show a lot of interest.
The employees show themselves to be focused, open to new ideas, solidary and strong in implementation. Some ask whether this is just a “positive bounce in emergency mode” or whether it also applies in the post-crisis period. Obviously, managers are stronger when they perceive employees more and take them into responsibility – and do not try to solve the current problems themselves as a “hero/heroine”.
